This 7 year old girl got shot today. I look like a suspect D:
Today me and my friend went to my other friends house to play some Xbox 360. The Police had one side of the street blocked off. They told us to go around. There was a bunch of glass in the street so we figured it was a car accident or something. There was another street blocked a block away too. We played videogames and chatted for about 5 hours. The usual Sunday thing. They said they heard about 20 gunshots and someone probably got fucked up. Pretty standard really.
After we left the house this cop hit us with the searchlight when we pulled off the street. We go on because you know pretty standard stuff. We get a few blocks away and that same police car is following us now. My friend is like well my insurance is expired. I'm like well be glad I am here and not one of our drugged out friends. He was like I just stopped smokin last week. We both LOL. Then the cop turns on the sirens and pulls us over.
We sat there for a good 10 minutes waiting for this dude to get out and do his thing. Then another police car shows up. And I was like he must be alone and needed another guy for the stop. Then we wait a few more minutes then 3 more cops pull up. At this point we were both like WTF. They come to both of our windows asking for ID. Then they were like get out of the car. Becaue you know 2 black guys in a nice car must be doing something illegal.
I know my rights and shit. But with this many cops and all of the cops being white I am not gonna argue. They searched both of us. The one who searched me was scared as hell. It was funny. He kept checking me over and over. Asking if I had anything he should know about. Then after he checked me he got a flashlight out and checked some more. Asking if I had anything on me. I was like You just checked me. Stupid I know but at this point I was pretty pissed off. And cold. And he messed up my clothes.
I was pretty calm the whole time. I always expect the worst thing to happen so I am always ready for whatever. I had all this stuff planned out in my head incase something went wrong. Most of the cops were on my side of the car. I am the bigger of the two of us and I did have on an Army coat. These dudes really really really thought they found who they were looking for. I know they were just waiting for a reason to do something. It's like they thought if they kept searching me a gun or some drugs would magically appear. They were looking under the hood in the trunk and everything. I asked the cop what happened and he said a 7 year old girl got shot.
Then they just let us go. And pulled over someone else down the street. I wonder what really happened. There had to be more to it. The girl who got shot had to have been shot by accident. No way someone bust off 20 shots to kill a 7 year old girl. I saw a lot of glass in the street. So someone probably got rolled up on and the little girl was in the car too.
Sorry for the swearing. But I am still kinda pissed. I tried to keep it as clean as I could.
