fix forThin and messy hair?

my hair is always thin and has a lot of frizz thus i look crazy and abnormal whenever i decide to go outside (once every few month). how do you make your hair strong and non frizzy like those 80's long hair styles.  

does anonymous know what kind of shampoo should i use?
