Exactly what you said. I am really happy of my MP3 player that looks nothing like an iPod. Granted, it is not as conveninent, and I had to recompile XMMS to get the proper support (I use Gentoo Linux because I don't want to be a mac fag. why the fuck is it popular again anyway), but now I can add songs manually, and it's all I need - no marketing junk. And most importantly,
IT CAN PLAY OGG FILES. But of course, people who listen to commercial music won't care since they would only have MP3.
