Why aren't men "desirable"?

I mean think about it. Every half decent girl has 50 guys after her. Every single guy stops and looks at a good looking girl when she goes by. But what about men?

We don't get noticed unless we're really good looking, and even then, we have to have a ton of cash. And yet still some girls ignore us. What makes guys so undesirable?

Why are we the desperate ones who will take almost anything we can get?

Because we're called whores for chasing after guys. Or rather, either way. (see post >>2 >:| )  We're even called whores for having more then one man ogling us, which you will do anyways if you like a girl.
Because our culture has a fucked up double-standard with gender.
