Introducing Japanese Things

Please introduce Japanese customs, food and people.

Many Japanese children go to cram schools to study. Some elementary school students study more than 10 hours at a cram school to enter a famous private junior high school during the winter vacation. In a sense they are crazy. But their parents force their children to enter a prestigious junior school. It seems, it is not the content of education but the name of the school that is really important for Japanese people.
