In Japan English study is so popular. Many Japanese, maybe No. 1 in the world take TOEIC tests. But the biggest problem is that when it comes to speaking English, Japanese are very poor. A Japanse who has been in the US for more than twenty years said that he can little understand English movies even now. It may be impossible for Japanese to understand English movies almost 100%.
