A bit scared of our upcoming group presentation. I haven't done a group presentation since... Well, since high school. Back then, it was just in front of 20 or so students, whom I knew and felt comfortable with. Now, instead of students, we're up in front of a large lecture room with 40 or so colleagues.
I guess it isn't a matter of this size of the room, or the number of people watching the presentation. That's not what scares me. It's whether I mess up, stumble with my words, or make a fool of myself up there. I don't want to be reading off notecards sounding monotonous, yet I don't want to say whatever comes into my head. Extemporaneous. Extemporaneous. Extemporaneous. But I don't think I can do that.. I'm not prepared.. I don't know the material well enough, and there's not enough time to fully go over it.
