A little help with translation

Is doctor a spanish word that means something else in English
An american girl who spent a year in Chile just said to me
>Adios Doctor
>Both words spanish

And im totally confused.
Any help appreciated as google kept trying to give me the spanish translation of the english word doctor over and over and over

Chileno culiao

unless it's some slang word it should mean either doctor of medicine or phd
