Spanish - That Day

If I wanted to say, "I wanted to do nothing that day" in Spanish, would I be able to say "aquel día" or "ese día?"

The full sentence is, "Quieré no hacer nada aquel día." (Or not...?)

mmm the correct translation would be: Yo no quería hacer nada ese día

but you could also say "Quería no hacer nada ese día"

Esperaba (or "quería") no hacer nada ese (or "aquel" if you want sound a little poetic) día.

No quería hacer nada ese ( or aquel, it is the same) día would be the best choice.
