What's the easiest language to learn?

I'm planning on learning a few languages, and I want to start with something easy. Thanks for reading.

Spanish is harder than english.
French is harder than spanish.
Both portuguese and italian are similar to spanish.
German is definitively harder than all those.
Esperanto is definitively easier than all those.
