Learning Japanese

Name: Anonymous 2011-08-22 14:45

Hey

I've been inspired to learn Japanese. I have already memorized every Hiragana and I'm now working on Katakana.

I've bought Kana de Manga (I plan on buying Kanji de manga too) and Japanese the Manga Way. Are there any other books or resources I should get or look into?

You need more than that. Stick your PENIS into the textbooks.

Find some basic high school textbooks for learning japanese.

Obentoo is a popular series.

Go through them, do the exercises, make sure you have a good understanding of basic, basic spoken and how the sentences work, and then start with basic lists of vocab (book, movie theater, song, boat, train, dad, etc.)

Then buy Basic Japanese Sentence structure by Naoko Chino. Study the fuck out of it while you work on your vocab simultaneously.

This will get you further faster than any other approach.
