English - "Z"

Name: Anonymous 2011-04-17 7:37

Way back in school in fifth grade I learned that in English the letter Z is supposed to be called "zed". Now for many years I've heard English speaking people calling the letter Z "zee", kind of like C is called "see".

What's the deal? Was my teacher an idiot and is this the real way that English speaking people call this letter?

It's 'zed' in French, so it's also 'zed' in English. Because, as you know, English is an inferior French dialect. And French are faggots, so 'zed' is for faggots.

But it's 'zee' in American, so 'zee' is for Alpha. Because as you know, America is strong!
