Guys, I need some recommendation of books or links to e-books would even better on how to remember the Han Zi without the mumbo jumbo children story bullshit.
Considering the fact I'm a native Cantonese speaker and a fluent Mandarin speaker; also that I use to do Saturday Chinese schools (not that I truly pay attention), I most likely have a good idea how the specific words are used. Otherwise my word-grouping dictionary will cut the cake.
Also, my friend wants to come China with me at the end of this year; learning some mandarin will do her some good.
So here are my humble well, my post sounds not-so-humble requests:
-Books on Han Zi
-User friendly
-Not dedicated to Children
-Talks abouts the simply etymology of the Han Zi (structure of words)
A better alternative to the Children story department would be:
-Old poetry
-三字經
-Historical context
Yes, I actually love my culture, despite that I didn't pay attention in class.
