spanish question

I want to say "I changed the words"

is it "las palabras yo he cambiado"? or...las palabras cambie?

I'm still a learner, so take this with a grain of salt
but the first one literally means "I have changed the words" and I think you'd want to word it as "yo he cambiado las palabras" because verbs are towards the beginning of sentences. Whereas "yo cambie las palabras" or "las palabras yo cambie" is just "I changed the words". The same as the first, I'd think the version with the verb towards the front of the sentence is more correct.

Anyway, like I said, I'm not a native speaker (or even a fluent speaker) so take it with a grain of salt, and if I'm wrong, I'm sorry.

Alright, thank you. I am giving it the kind of funky organization because I'm fitting it into a song. I'm around native speakers alot and am at a conversational level pretty much. The word "he" has always been sort of on the perimeter of my understanding. It sounded correct to me when I first thought up the sentence but then I wasn't sure if it was actually nonsense, if I was actually saying something like "The words, I myself have changed."

I'm changing a spanish verse in a demo version of TMBG's "Hovering Sombrero"...I can't remember quite what they wrote but I don't remember it making much sense, so I am replacing it with "Las palabras yo he cambiado / porque los originales no comprendo / pero el efecto es lo mismo de nuevo / Hovering Sombrero, uno vez mas"

i'm trying to say "I have changed the words / because the original ones I didn't understand / but the effect is the same thing again / hovering sombrero one more time"

La correcta respuesta sería: Cambié las palabras.

Cambé la palabras / porque no comprendía las originales / pero es lo mismo / un sombrero sosteniéndose otra vez más

rather than specifically "1 more time" I just want a shortish phrase that just conveys "again" or something similar to transition to the next part of the song. would just a plain "otra vez" work there?
