Recette will never exist. If she did, she would always love you, let you live with her, and cuddle with you all night long. She'd always be loyal to you, love you dearly, and express her happiness around you by saying her cute sayings with you. She'd always be by your side and would never second guess you. Not only that, but she'd buy all your vidya and play it with you, genuinely enjoying it because she can spend her time with you. Too bad she isn't real.

Rydia is the most bad-ass Final Fantasy character ever.
At the tender age of seven her mom is killed and her village is destroyed in a holocaust of fire by two black armor clad royal agents. Screaming her hatred, she attempts to get revenge by summoning a Titan who causes an earthquake so severe it shifts a goddamn mountain range.
The Dark Knight who killed her mom everyone in her village wakes up alone with this seven year old girl and the first thing he does? He takes her to the nearest hotel to spend a night together. Now that shit is fucked up, and has got to leave some emotional scares, but other than an unwillingness to cast fire magic she doesn't show any sign of weakness. When Edward, a full grown man and royal prince, bitches endlessly about his dead fiance she chews him out for being such a whiny little runt.
Even this isn't enough for Rydia though. When that Dark Knight is mildly delayed by an ice wall he basically makes her cast fire spells. The one way in which she showed her grief over the loss of everyone she knew and loved in a firestorm was by not ever casting fire spells. But because she is such a bad-ass she does it anyway.
Oh yeah, and later she gets eaten by legendary monster, lives to befriend and tame the monster, then fly to the moon to make the god of all legendary monsters her proxy.
Rydia is the most bad-ass FF character, prove me wrong.
