Assimil = Good?

Well, is Assimil good? If not, what are some good book courses I can get?

It's very good, if you use it right

Start with that and modify as you need, it's what I did
Look up "shadowing" also2

Assimil is the best as far as I'm concerned, but you should use other programs with it
I like putting the sentences into Anki
