MA in Translation

Dear /lang/
I have now cross the Weeaboo Event Horizon and gone so far that I'm starting to think of getting an MA in Translation this year. Please tell me why this would be a bad idea.

Anyway, I've decided to apply for a few programs anyway. I'll worry about the details once I've got a firm offer in hand.
