Sup /lang/,

Could you guys recommend me some materials to learn Czech?

Read the fantastic grammar articles on the english Wikipedia and use slovnik.cz.
Basically that's all you need. Read stuff that interests you.
Personally, I also used a quite bad book from the 70s in order to learn Czech. I consider my Czech skills quite good now.

Seriously? That's all?

Seriously... do you need anything else?
Of course there may be some extremely borring language courses that cost over 9000$ and may teach you Czech in a way that you don't enjoy. So I recommend to do it yourself. Standard stuff that applies for every target language helps also with Czech (i.e. listen to radio, watch films, get a Czech chat friend etc.).

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose Czech? (lolPrague is not a valid reason)

My mother's side of the family is Czech. Both my grandparents are kids of Czech immigrants. As I see it, learning Czech is a way to get in touch with my heritage.
