Non-English forums

A good way to learn a language is to use it and read it a lot, obviously. How do I find popular non-English news/blogs/forums/chans ?

i know can just go to google.fr or google.ru or whatever, but that won't help me find blogs or forums with lots of daily conversation so I can try and pick up slang and the pop culture. If you live in a non-English speaking country and frequent forums there, can you help out?

example:
    Japan -> http://www.2ch.net
    Brazil -> Orkut (or something, I really don't know)

No, I know - I was finding the fact that Uighur, which is geographically more distant is a lot more intelligible to a Turkish speaker than Uzbek.

The half-assed words I think I got are:

>norozilik yöq, O'zbekcha men gapiraman (Uzr men Ozbek tilini tushunaman ammo gapirmayman)
>??? yok, Özbekçe ben anlıyorum (??? Özbek dilini düşünüyor ama anlayamıyor)
>(norozilik) no such thing/is wrong, Ozbek - I understand ((uzr men) Ozbek language - can think - but - can't understand)

basically I have no idea about some words, guessed a few (I thought gapıraman was related to azeri gapmak, used in turkish slang today) and I don't know, the -aman ending is found in some distant dialect as a negative ending, but the presence of -mayman suggests that's the actual negative, so yeah). But, since I got nothing meaningful I'm probably wrong.

What were you actually saying?
