Non-English forums

A good way to learn a language is to use it and read it a lot, obviously. How do I find popular non-English news/blogs/forums/chans ?

i know can just go to google.fr or google.ru or whatever, but that won't help me find blogs or forums with lots of daily conversation so I can try and pick up slang and the pop culture. If you live in a non-English speaking country and frequent forums there, can you help out?

example:
    Japan -> http://www.2ch.net
    Brazil -> Orkut (or something, I really don't know)

sozluk.sourtimes.org is the only worthwhile thing in Turkish with user-created content. I had set up a Turkish chan sometime last year but it turned out to be pretty shitty, so it's dead.

I find it strange that I can somewhat understand Uighur but only got two words out of that. Everyone else has dialect continuum bawww
