Hey /lang/, I am a Modern Foreign Languages major, and I graduate in 2010. I have only gotten to study Romance languages, and I realize that I kind of like the technical aspects of the languages more since I took Latin class last year. I wanted to know what academic windows of opportunity I had with my major regarding the selection of a graduate school program.

Don't waste your time studying, you'll die in a car accident on October 19th 2009.

Double major with something else too. Unless you want to be a translator or want to go on to study literature in one of those languages at the graduate level, I don't understand why you would only major in foreign languages.

The problem is that I have no time in my schedule for a double major. The only way a double major would work for me is if I graduated in 2011. My major problem with that is that five year seniors from my idiotic school lose most of their funding, so I would be royally screwed because my school costs $30,000 per year.

Take out a loan then. Having a major that allows you to have a solid career is worth the 30,000 dollars.
