C originally comes from a semitic letter that represented a voiced sound [g], but Etruscs could not pronounce shit and used it for [k].

The best, after all, is the letter F. Originally it was for the sound W, but loletruscs used it for modern sound in the combination FH, and so it came to Latin, but without the H.
