chinese/japanese signs

my computer goes slow when there are chinese/japanese signs
please help

that's normal, not much you can do. rendering chinese/japanese characters requires alot CPU power.

get a proper operating system.
Really, my computer slows down too when I view Japanese text while running Windows. No such problem when in Linux or OS X. Dunno why it is this way though.

I always have loads of Chinese and Japanese stuff open on a shit computer, and the only times it slows down is like the other day when I wan't paying attention and left about 30 long novels (with ruby) open in Firefox. I do however know people who complain about slow down, so I've just been assuming it's some kind of deep and profound mystery that man is not meant to solve.
