So i herd you enforce the no-loanwords policy in Icelandic, remove everything foreign, etc.
Does anyone really follow it in colloquial speech?
Or, by far, does anyone really use Icelandic in everyday life?

im icelandic and if you want to learn it you should just forget about it right now and go learn some other language. foreigners never ever stick with it. even the polish immigrants that have been here for years dont want to learn our language. its just complicated certain prononciation and stuff. just go learn german or something man
