Salut, I want to improve my french. Wondering if anybody had any good Nouveau Manga suggestions, or any other french comics, bandes dessinee, aside from Tintin and Asterix.

For example, 'La Complainte Des Landes Perdues' looks pretty cool.

Quality French Webcomics appreciated too like www.Maliki.com, especially when they have a francophone forum I can lurk.

Hey do what I do and read manga. Lots and lots of French manga out there. I grew up reading BD (Spirou magazine in particular) but most of it bores me now unfortunately. Keep in mind I don't know about most new series. I have browsed adult works and they seem to be split between GRIMDARK comics and sexual joke comics. In fact I don't know about most series. Nouveau Manga
The current is called Nouvelle Manga to set it apart from Japanese manga (masculine form) but that's all I really know about it.

This is anecdotal but I had a TA this week teach us a class and he had excellent (near-native) pronunciation but he fucked up every masculine/feminine case. You could have asked him to switch what he was doing around and he would have gotten most right. Just throwing that out there since it's a common thing for people whose first language is English.
