Trying to learn Japanese

I'm thinking about trying to learn Japanese but there are no classes available in my area. What programs/textbooks can I use to help me learn Japanese as a second language?

in b4 weeaboo, etc.

I have a somewhat similar question, the difference is WHERE THE FUCK DO I START? I've heard suggestions of learning the basic 2000+ kanji and after that everything should be much easier going from there, others have suggested learning Hiragana and Katakana as a starting point, and I'm just fucking lost. Book suggestions on learning Kanji would also be appreciated.
