I've been recently thinking about learning lojlan, what would you reccomend?
I understand the fact that a very select population speak it and thus I will not be able to frequently communicate with it, I'm just fascincated with the idea of it.

I have a friend who is also interested in the idea of learning it, we mainly want to learn it to see if it improves communication due to the unambiguity and clear nature of the language;

Ido corrects mistakes made in Esperanto. That's it was friggin MADE for. Esperantofags don't want their time spent learning Esperanto to go to waste so they never talk about Ido, and it seems to have worked.
