Questions to people learning Japanese

1. Who are you? (Age, sex, location and everything else you are willing to tell us)
2. Why are you learning Japanese.

I'm asking this because I want to know if the people who are trying (notice the word 'trying') to learn Japanese are just a bunch of weeaboo faggots, or if they have a more sane reason to do so.

23/m/some place I hate

physically fit, good at some sports, not repulsive to the opposite sex.

My reasons for learning Japanese:
-when I was younger i was practicing martial arts and exposed to the language that way
-one of my uncle's taught me some japanese when I was a kid, i liked it
-I actually love the language and think it's beautiful.
-Japanese girls are cute
-Having been to Japan once before, I can say I'd really like to return, and I'd like to be fluent enough to have a good time.


Sure I like anime, but I don't obsess over it like so many other people.  It's a nice way to kill time when there aren't more important things to do.
