New language

I pressumed this would be the best place to ask this question so I'll try even if it is actually innapropriate.

I'm a highly communicative person and I love social interaction, (even though I am a regular 4chan user) However I find that only knowing one language limits my possibilities of finding an equally intelligent and like-minded person so I want to learn a secondary language, (well I do know latin, but that's practically dead in terms of use) yet I'm not really good at learning a new language or even anything if I don't have a high interest in it, like most 4channers I lack motivation. High-school french got me nowhere (I'm a Britfag).

I just wanted to ask you on what language you would reccomend me to learn, I don't care about how many people speak it, especially as Chinese is a dominant language yet the chances of me talking to such a speaker is minimal considering thier suppresive government. I'm interested in learning an interesting language that many intelligent and emotive people speak, so I can readily talk to a new kind of being.

Do you understand what I'm on about? As a conclusion, give me advise on what language would be most interesting to learn and even national i.q's. I was thinking of learning Japanese but I from what I've heard most of them speak English anyway, I also like the Germanic and Russian people (not thier government, just most of thier people).

P.S My name is OP for when I reply in this thread I can be identified.

I would recommend the language of Danish, for a number of reasons.

#1: http://2ch.us/ lists, just under 4chan, 4chan.dk. Dk is for Denmark. There are actually some danish 4chan sites out there, and though they are generally dead, then thats because every danish person speaks english as a second language; And who would want to miss being a collective hivemind and all. But there are Some sites, and if you compare statistically the amount of danish posts, then you will find out that compared to danish people are a very large percentage chanfaggots that speak danish.

#2: When you have learnt Danish, you will be able to undestand and speak Swedish and Norweigian and Street-faerose as well.

#3: It is very easy to learn Danish as English and Danish are very related languages.

#4: Danish people are the most happy people in the world.. Orly? Yar Rly! : http://www.google.dk/search?q=denmark+is+the+happiest+country+in+the+world&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:da:official&client=firefox-a
