Hi, I need to write an essay for 700 words, but I have no idea what to write about. Does anybody can help me?
Topic:
Your local school board is considering a proposal to limit all extracurricular activities (sports, music, clubs) to only those student who maintain an academic record of C or better. The board has announced that it will base its decision on how such a policy would affect students’ learning. Write a letter to the school board arguing either for or against the proposal, explaining how your chose would affect students’ learning.
Ps: for me English is a second language.

2 ...to proof that school board should not limit any activities, because they can develop lots of skills like self-motivation, creativity, etc. I just haven’t enough examples to cover 700 worlds, and I need ideas how those activities (sport, music, clubs) can help in studying.

Well, which do you think? Stating your opinion and why you hold it should get you a few hundred words. Then back it up, citing maybe the fact that Music is shown to help students mathematically or something, and that low performing students maybe need the help music can give the most?
