You are beating around the bush right now. You are focused on the topic of human sacrifices and I didn't mean to say that only. On top of that, what the damn Inquisition used to do weren't 'sacrifices', maybe you should call them 'death penalties'. They used the power that "God" 'granted' them to give 'justice'. They interpreted the verses of the Bible as if they were laws. They were evil and used that unlawful power to rule ancient Spain for a long time. I am not proud of that part of the history of my country. The fuckin' Church slowed down the progress and evolution of the modern countries. Fuck Inquisition and fuck Church.
On the other hand, sacrifices in Pre-Columbian America were made in the name of the Gods, just to calm their rage down. It sounds rather prehistoric to me. They even hadn't an alphabet! And we are talking about 15th century! That's fucking retarded. Don't you think so?
