Russian Language

I'm considering taking some classes and learning some Russian. How hard is it in relation to other languages like French, German, and Spanish?

French is for faggots, I gotta point that out right now.

Take German, do NOT take French or Spanish.

Spanish will turn you into... well, just read through this board and you'll see what Spanish/Mexican/JAJAJAJAJAJA people are like.

French... pretty much the same, except they are too stupid to use the Internet properly.

Germans... okay, sure, they suck at the Internet as well, but they keep to themselves at least.

Compared to Finnish or Japanese it's a picnic in the park methinks.

I've already taken three years of German. Not really much learned considering it was Highschool. I can read a few simpler books or have a short conversation.

i'm not too sure about the german alphabet, but the russian alphabet is totally differnet from the one we use.  which is also the one french and spanish use.  russian also has a much different grammar style than english and is harder to get accustomed to than spanish/french.

i speak spanish and have just started looking at russian.  its definetly more difficult to learn but by no means intimidating.

It's spoken as it's written.

Well, russian is sort of complicated for foreign learner, I guess learning english is easier, but there are some points, I guess, which make russian not so difficult to learn, like there are a lot of words which sound similar to english, german and such languages. It's just the cyrillics to get used to.

I've been googlin for an hour to no avail. Hope someone could help.
What's the name of the Russian folk poetry/limerick that's
often very obscene (like dealing with necrophilia/incest)??

Is there a good, no-holds barred website teeming with those
limericks??
I'm trying to convince someone who claims "perversions" came
into existence only after modernization.

Name: Anonymous 2006-12-02 1:22
