Learning Nazispeak

Hello.

Any advice on learning German? I'm going to Germany in october and stay for several months. Right now all the German I know is "guten tag/morgen", "ja/nein" and WWII movie vocabulary (sieg heil and the like).

I think the best thing you can do is to actually put an effort into learning A LOT of vocabulary and their CORRECT intonation, so  you will be able to recognize them when you hear a German person speaking.
By the way, where will you be going? Northern Germany? Bavaria? It could be A LOT more difficult because the people in Bavaria don't speak actual German.
