Ah, the irony.
This thread displays the one true flaw of the french as a whole. Arrogance, self-centeredness and neglect can be flaws that could come to mind. Yet it is not their true bane. Arrogance-wise, there is even much worse than the french out there.

No, what truly plagues the french happens to be the ranting.
Everything that involves the french involves an industrial amount of ranting and whining. As individuals, the french have to be ranting over about anything that happens in their lives. As a nation, the french have to be ranting over about anything that happens both inside and outside their borders. French social affairs and politics are an endless stream of complaints, rants and counter-rants. Society advances through series of protests.

Decision through debate is a long-term solution to problems that arise as a society develops. Debate itself is the basis for democracy and healthy ground for the maturation of ideas, if not ideologies. The french have merely pushed the use of debate so far that discussion much too rapidly diverges from healthy to insanely, overly dramatic.

The Sapir-Whorf hypothesis states that language shapes thought. I'd be tempted to find an application of the principle here. You could consider the french language to be the equivalent of a complex, finely-crafted, complex yet utterly medieval weapon. Difficult to handle, and a marvel that dies for an occasion to be used in a rhetorical joust. French is a language that allows you to properly look down upon, offend, bring down or just plainly insult your opponent in many ways.

Yet, the question stays: did the french shape their language in their minds' likeness, or does the language truly affect their ways by being so fit to ranting?

All I know of for sure is one thing - many out there use the language without the attitude.

Et j'espère être l'un d'eux, n'étant pas français mais vivant trop près du pays en question pour ignorer ce qui s'y passe. Ce d'autant plus que cette langue d'une beauté rare que l'on s'empresse soit de massacrer, soit d'abuser à des fins lui rendant peu gloire se trouve être ma langue maternelle.

Oui, la France part dans une direction que personne n'aime. Oui, c'est dramatique. Oui, il faut faire quelque chose. Cependant, d'aucuns semblent encore ignorer que hurler au scandale de manière indiscriminée contre et les politiques, et les banlieues, et tout le pays ne contribue qu'à faire empirer les choses. Cela, en effet, ne fait au final que venir s'ajouter sur la pile par trop gigantesque de railleries qui ont pour produit la france actuelle.

Oui, le net français est d'un naze prononcé. Oui. Et pourquoi donc ? Parce que trop de temps est passé par l'internaute du cru à râler, et pas assez à faire quelque chose de productif. Ca râle, ça râle, et ça ne cherche pas à faire mieux. Et la situation restera ainsi tant que l'attitude persistera.

Aussi, je vous en conjure, taisez-vous. Tentez d'ajouter quelque chose de conséquent au délire consensuel que 4chan est et reste, et bouclez-la sur la suite.

Messieurs (femmes, internet, etc), le fait de râler ainsi en réaction au fait de voir le seul thread dans ma langue maternelle dévier en dépotoîr de sémantique réchauffée, fade et incohérente m'a moi-même fait dépasser les bornes de la convenance en matière de quantité de râlerie admissible pour un seul être humain.

Je me tairai donc à nouveau.
