Americans. Insofar as I'm concerned, the french just need a lesson in open-mindedness and humility. You see, the problem with your average american is that he's fat and stupid and ignorant. The problem with the french is that they're not fat, they're not stupid, but when it comes to being franco-centric, nationalistic (even when they say they aren't) and arrogant, even the elite (academics, intellectuals, leaders) have this whole underlying impression that France has something exceptional about it, even if in fact, they're lagging behind in a particular field.
