Spam and moderation at 4 chan

I know from the beginning of 4chan there was little to no moderation but back then this could also be said about spam. Now the amount of spam is rising like shit after diarhea, the report function is too slow to report all the spam on the front page, those 3rd world countries spaming fucks keep changing words so the filter can't get them.
Does anyone now what 4 chan staff is doing about it?

I still have yet to figure out exactly *how* moot chooses his mods, but the majority of them are his irl buddies and those that aren't just got lucky. To quote one of them:
