They don't need to be funny, like /b/'s, they can be like the classic "Battletoads = GIMMICKS ARE DUMB, I SHOULD BE BANNED" filter.

"Prove me wrong". Banned in /b/, so it crept to /v/.
"ITT". Never used when the poster has something useful to say.
Also, I'm humbly requesting that you hire at least two more moderators. During school hours, the boards are complete shit. The best mode on /v/ seems to be on only very late at night/early in the morning, and the board needs more like him, whoever he is.
I agree with some things in the OP, such as the "Prove me wrong" threads and I'd even say the stupid ass "Make me/you rage" threads should be met with the same fate.
But the thought that first comes to mind with wordfilters is the PENIS BUTT and VAGINA wordfilters on /b/ where people just spam them to be asses,a dn the same thing would happen on /v/.
If instead of changing from one thing to another, they were just removed from the post altogether or resulting in automatic moderation, I could see that as a possible solution. But the traditional penis turning into a colored PENIS would do more harm than good.
I agree. That's why I'm requesting the return of the "I SHOULD BE BANNED" style filters (Battletoads and Weeaboo), so people would spam them like PENIS, BUTTSEX, and VAGINA. This is just a list of words that would need this style of filter.
Remember back when the GIMMICKS ARE DUMB, I SHOULD BE BANNED filter was active? Of course, it spurred the use of FIGHTING FROGS and COMBAT AMPHIBIANS and crap, but that could be stopped too. Kids will stop trying if the mods keep laying the hammer down (Rahter than bringing it down once).
