Why are you so stupid?

Hey, anyone knows why most 4chan users are so damn stupid? I can't figure it out, I have been here for a long time and there have been really awesome discussion, but most of the time all I see is bland stupidity. I'm not even talking about /b/ stupidity, I mean the real, ignorant, retarded kind of stupidity.

I'm not gonna be full of shit and say I've been here since the beginning, but the average decorum during my time here has been reduced to basically utter retardation and ignorance. The memes are stagnant now.

4chan used to be about retreat and hilarity. Now it's about who's the least of a "newfag," which, I'm sorry, but is a fucking newbie term.
