Something needs to be done about /gif/

In my time browsing 4chan, I've found many great gifs from /gif/ boards.  While venturing in there is never safe, there's usually always a piece of gold in the pile of poo there.  (the star wars force shops make me lol)

But now, the stuff in there has reach a new level of f%#kin disgusting.  Close ups of gay sex with hairy balls, traps with old women, weird redneck guys with some sorta testicle enlargement devices?

Not to mention the recent flood of gay porn, while I'm fine with people being gay, I don't wanna see them stick it in eachothers poopers (or having sex with watermelons).

You can say "just don't click on the ones that you don't wanna see" but it's filled with so many damn traps that I'm not sure what it is I wanna see anymore.

There should be a place where people can post porn gifs, and another place for anime/funny/clean gifs, which would be moderated.

Yeah, 4chan barely has any rules. Racists are allowed to be racist, people take shits on eachother and post pictures of it, others enjoy posting pictures of mutilated corpses and animals. Some moderation is needed.. It drives a way a lot of the smart and originally funny people. I barely browse 4chan anymore because of the shitpile it has become. The people who run the site don't really give a fuck, they just let it fester like a stinking wart.
