installing an imageboard on your site

I want to try and install an image board on my site but apart from getting the script I have no idea how to install it.
any help you can offer would be apreciated

just pretend that I have web space and don't know anything about anything ans that I'm really really slow and explain it like I were a child from the begining. ie where to upload what ect.
or at least point me in the direction of information
