please help ban script

i just downloaded futallaby and i cannot find a "USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST" script or even any ban script at all. please help! thanks

You don't know who I am, but if you're somewhat *chan savvy, and have two braincells, you might be able to guess.

I'm pretty good at guessing anonymites by writing style, so maybe so.

That idiotic "USER WAS..." is just an open invitation for drama drama, and the resulting kiddies who try to get back at the site.

It was copied from SA, where it still seems to work (on SA there are many more opportunities to be an idiot in such a way that your post doesn't need deleting, and usually everyone else can either learn a lesson from it or laugh at it). I don't think it introduces much drama by itself, since if you're going to get banned for something you'll probably be angry about it because you're probably already an idiot.

Mods who make a display of themselves, like retard Snacks, achieve the same effect.

It might be contrary to the spirit of 2chan (being psychotically reclusive), and certainly there are other bad things about it, but in general it seems to work out for SA. Snacks took most of the /b/-special stuff from FYAD (which /b/ mostly is a stupider version of, but without the horrid cliquing problems), which might not have been the best idea but certainly doesn't deserve that.

The proper way to do it is to simply delete the post and pretend it never existed.
