#30 is right, SA isn't really that funny anymore, its more of a retarded script kiddy wannabe trolls hangout then a humor site. Seems like site is more dedicated flaming people or things that really up set them when they don't get their way, and encouraging their readers to spam and ddos people, then actually being humorous.
And don't deny that SA encourage their readers to spam/ddos, they go well out of their way to rite up some rant to "inspire" and rally the "troops," and then they go out of their way to point out every email/forum/guest book/IM/etc in a "send them a friendly message and tell them how you feel, wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more" way.
On the other hand, Lowtax has made a remarkable achievement in turning a profitable commercial outfit from a vBulletin board.

The forums are actually pretty good in their own way however most of the humor of the frontpage and the forums is not funny.

GBS is a cesspool. But kudos to Lowtax for turning forum weeding and newbie training(bans and re-registration) and vanity features(custom titles) into a cash cow.

I think this is all quite amusing because people have all these sites with all these "complex" (aka old) humor on it when it comes down to it all I want to see is good ol' Anonymous slapping Cockmongler or Happy Negro on a random picture and laughing. Less thinking, more laughing. You go to SA or elsewhere, you have to pay for an account, and you have more rules and less lame response macros. I am sad to say I'm one of those idiots that have been tainted so much by 4chan that I start slapping overused responses onto other forums, and having to stop to explain 4chan. Then people come here, and the community grows.
I'm pretty sure moot said this at one point or another, "4chan is what the users make of it, there are good days and there are bad days." We just do what we can and besides the whole "4CHAN IS ALWAYS DYING" piece of it, we seem to be getting along fine.
