dreamcast ikaruga too fast?

I need your help /games/

I'd post this on /vr/ but dreamcast is banned from there

I have been playing ikaruga (jp import) on my dreamcast with utopia boot disc

It's an expensive game so I wanted to play a backup instead so I got (DC) Ikaruga [NTSC-J][DCRes] and tried that...

but its ridiculously fast, it feels much more than 60/50x the speed

am I being trolled by DCRes or am I just shit at games or what?

How should I figure out which speed it should be running at? and if this copy is speeded up where should I look for a normal speed version?

i have a modified dreamcast and the dcres run to fucking fast
i asked in dcisozone and they tell me that's the way it is, so i just stop caring and play it that way, so my advise is play it that way soon or latter you will be acustom to the speed
