Cannot remember that game

I remember playing a game years ago, where I had to control a small builder robot/module on a strange planet.

The robot had to build (and upgrade?) facilities in order to be able to power itself. I also remember something with containers it was able to manipulate.

Also, the game was in 3D.

Kind of vague? That's how I feel.
Any ideas?
