Hey, you remember how in old Final Fantasy games, whenever you dealt the killing blow to the final boss the screen would flash and you'd hear a loud CRACK, followed by a gutteral rumbling noise as the boss shook back and forth and dissolved into dust, pixel by pixel, for about 2 solid minutes? You remember how it always stayed in the battle screen during this and stopped all your characters from doing anything, leaving them just standing their in their idle poses watching in awe as the greatest threat their world has ever known crumbles into nothing, destroyed by their hands?

Final Fantasy has been getting worse and worse for years. III, V and VI are all pretty good and FF II is secretly one of the best games in the series. If you don't cheese the system to super power all your guys and just play it earnestly then you're in for an awesome game.
