Nintendo still fucked over by 3rd parties.

NES -- Nintendo was thuggish to 3rd party companies, as they were the only real console still around, Nintendo stopped all the crappy games coming from the Atari 2600 and C64, and in turn they had to make better games.

Super Nintendo -- the Sega MegaDrive/Genesis took away a few video game developers, but the Super Nintendo was more powerful and a superior console, Nintendo was still the man, despite turning away a few companies like Sony & Microsoft from publishing Shovelware.

Nintendo 64 The rise of the Playstation and gaming Shovelware & badly made unplayable shit, the cart-based format of the Nintendo 64 had the worst support of any Nintendo console by 3rd parties.

Nintendo Gamecube -- Nintendo Gamecube couldn't compare to the Shovelware console that was the Playstation 2, Sony had cash to buy up big AAA exclusives like Teletubbies, Gamecube's list of exclusives is far shorter when Capcom fucked off with all Nintendo money.

Wii -- Nothing but Playstation 2 ports. end off.

WiiU -- 3rd parties still looking to go Bankruptcy by sticking with both M$ & Sony, Most likely more ps3 & 360 ports.

I'm pretty sure third party publishers hate nintendo. I think the stigma of third party games not selling on Nintendo consoles, has really hurt Nintendo. But it's a BS statement. Usually third party games on Nintendo are half assed, and that's why they don't sell.
