Boycott Mass Effect 3 Wii U.

Send EA a message and don't buy Mass Effect 3 for the Wii u, if this was the plan all along EA should have just announced the trilogy box set for Wii U, instead of sending it out to die, when the other consoles get the FULL Trilogy.

Halo does not carry a console, Microsoft is just as reliant on third party's as Sony always has been.
