Civ-like games

Name: noko 2012-09-19 20:33

I am looking for a game to play.

>Can train armies and command individual units, etc
>Can conquer nearby cities / nations
>Form diplomatic alliances, trading routes, etc for lods e mone
>City building
>Nation building

The closest thing I can think of is Civ or Caesar, but neither is quite what I am looking for.

Posting here because I'm too lazy to find an image.

There is a place called Wikipedia, where you can go and look for what category Civilization is in, and click on that cattegory to see more games of the same type?

You should check out grand strategy games, sounds like you are interested in Crusader Kings 2. It has a lot of individual characters and is pretty deep as far as diplomacy go.
As long as you are happy with the minimalistic graphics it's GOTYAY

If you scratch city building I'd recomend Darkest Hour or generally Hearts of Iron.

Why must Capcom continue to drive this series into the ground...?
