"Christopher 'Moot' Poole has went public with the announcement of selling the 4chan domain. Nexon Co. Ltd. has agreed to purchase 4chan. Located in South Korea Nexon is best known as a game development studio known for its hit titles Maple Story, Vindictus, and Sudden Attack.
When asked Nexon what changes can we expect they promised an all new and inventive user interface. Users can make as many image free posts as they want, and then spend 5 cents to include images. For 10 cents they can imbed their favorite videos, including youtube and other streaming services. For 25 cents they can play a single game of Kart Dash 2.0 on their browser, a multiplayer kart racing game.
Premium plans have been announced to be in the works but no pricing details have been made yet. When asked why now Mr. Poole said '4chan has changed. I've grown up and it hasn't. I'm moving on to bigger and better things and it's time I put that part of my life behind me.'"
