I was going to write something pithy and trollish, but have decided instead to reply seriously instead for shits and giggles and because it's such a stupid argument.
360 was my choice of console this generation, I've been enjoying the games for years and virtually never play fps games. Halo, CoD, Battlefield etc don't interest me, but there are still a ton of games.
Off the top of my head, Just Cause 2, Batman AA, Red Dead Redemption, Bayonetta, Dead Rising, Street Fighter IV, King of Fighters XIII, Mortal Kombat,Tomb Raider Underworld, Bastion, Deus Ex HR, Dark Souls, Ass Creed 2...
Now maybe you don't like all those games, but if you don't think at least some of them are good then this probably isn't a hobby for you. My point is, there are tons and tons of non-fps games availible, it's just that shooters are popular these days. It's not like the SNES was a shit system because it had all those derivitive platformers. SNES was fucking awesome, and so are the 360 and PS3.
